Caryn | The Muse Who Started It All
In the Summer of 2021, I had an idea to create a photography event for women with a fellow photographer friend. Mixing editorial with intimate, we focused on self love. Each client would choose outfits that made them feel powerful and sultry, leading their own level of sexy.
Caryn set the bar high that day, arriving in a crisp white suit for a menswear edit. She opened her blazer, eventually taking off the bralette beneath, and went shoeless for the most effortless vibe.
This event solidified my passion for photography. Seeing the vulnerability, confidence, and beauty each woman brought to her session was truly inspiring. It was more than just a photoshoot; it was an experience that celebrated each woman’s uniqueness. Caryn’s embrace of her individuality and style reminded me why I turned my hobby into a business.
This session helped me realize the impact of self-love photography and why I chose this niche. I wanted my work to be more than just taking pictures; I wanted it to tell a story and empower others to see their beauty within.
Looking back at these photos, I am reminded of the journey that led me here. It makes me proud to see how far I’ve come and how much my self-love portfolio has grown. Each session is a testament to the strength and beauty of the women I photograph, and I am honored to be part of their journey.
